Things to do and see at iLight besides the art lights

March 26, 2014

As if walking along Marina Bay, soaking in the atmosphere and admiring the light art is not enough, there is more to do and enjoy during your iLight walk.

Camera settings can create romantic images, can’t they?!

You can simply do some people watching; never a dull moment with such a divers crowd.

Similar to the previous image, only now with a ‘normal’ setting;-). Crowds strolling over the pedestrian DNA bridge near MBS.
You might run into the world’s youngest Batman…

…wearing a cape ‘n all;-)!

…or people taking a brake while looking out over the bay…

There is live music on several times and locations.

You can go on a shopping spree and buy stuff, (related to lights, but also other items), since there is a bazar and a flea market.

There are a bunch of cool F&B options, like the mobile gourmet food truck Kerbside and the Pasarbella market.

Pasarbella market is set up in front of Marina Bay Shoppes like a cosy F&B square, with restaurants in opened-up sea containers, pimped up with cool graffiti. There are tables and seating areas created with pallets, bean bags and ‘normal’ tables and chairs. It looks yummie and cosy!

You may come across a yoga-demo-class taking place….

…or you could stumble upon rollerbladers, fire dancers or stilt walkers.

You can even choose to combine your iLight tour with a visit to the Art & Science Museum, where the exhibit ‘Dinosaurs-Dawn to Extinction’ runs. The species around the museum already offer cool photo-opps!

Did you brush your teeth tonight? Really?!
Don’t look at me like that; you give me the creeps!

Check out the official website of iLight to find out detailed info about the festival program.

Remember, you only have four days left to enjoy the iLight Festival!

Did you visit the festival this year? What was your favorite art installation?

We don’t go anywhere anymore these days. I am too busy blogging. Which is why I think I will stop doing that. Nice festival you are showing us. You don’t need to get bored.

Yeah I visited the festival with family. Enjoyed the ambience the lights etc. The best thing was the lights with bottles and the floor drum lights. Thanks for the nice blog.
