The day we visited the iLight Festival 2014 a pet afternoon was part of the program. As an animal lover this was an added bonus to me. And indeed, I had a ball! I have never seen so many pets on one day in one place in Singapore; cute overload!!!

There were also some other pets; it was not all dogs.

| This man walked around with a dog, a parrot and a white cat. Special! |

| There even was a bunny on a leash! I was scared that some dog might discover his inner predator and go after the bunny. |
After the event, many of the pet owners stayed in the area the whole evening, strolling around the bay, admiring the light art and having dinner.
There were small dogs in tote bags….
…and small dogs with pink dresses, tutus and costume jewelry.

I even ran into the owner of the two costumed hero-dogs that I met at Orchard, a couple of months ago. They were wearing different (home-made) costumes this time and again the man and his dogs drew a lot of attention again. Fun!
Which of the portrayed pets are your favorites?

The guy with the parrot and the cat is brilliant. How I miss my little LoveBird, Midas : (

I always have very mixed feelings about pet owners and how they treat their pet. I don’t think they like being dressed up (in the heat) or wearing caps, or being on a leash (the bunny that is).
