L’Usine le Loi - hipster cafeteria, bistro and shop in Saigon
Before traveling to Vietnam, I read a lot about L’Usine le Loi in Saigon on blogs and in articles.

It seemed to be a hip concept-store selling cool products and serving good coffee and meals in the cafeteria and in the bistro (different location).

The two locations of L’Usine le Loi in Saigon.
You guessed it already; right up my alley, so I wanted to try it out for myself.
Cafeteria and shop
We visited the shop slash cafeteria. For the Bistro we had no time.
Although we were looking -very focussed- for L’Usine le Loi, we passed it almost twice before noticing it.

The entrance which we passed by twice.
But in the end we did, luckily.
The store
The store is on street level and has a cool interior design.

I love the original way they display this jewellery.

But do you notice how teeny tiny this jewellery is? I guess it is for children? If not, it would totally ‘disappear’ on my body.

I quite like these lights.

They sell a wide variety of stuff.
The cafeteria
You have to go up the stairs to arrive at the Cafeteria.

Stairs from the shop to the Cafeteria.
The place was packed at lunchtime and definitely had a hipster/expat/urban-nomad vibe going on.

The food and coffee were good and I loved the ambiance.

For sure a place I would hang out a lot, if I would live in the area!

Have you been to L’Usine le Loi? Does it look like your kind of hangout or coffee place?
