About Mid Autumn Festival:

This article gives an overview of Mid Autumn celebrations in Singapore in past years.

And this post shows you how beautiful the lanterns were last year at Gardens by the Bay.

About Deepavali:

This post about Deepavali in 2013 gives you an idea of what the streets look like during Deepavali.

If you live in Singapore or visit Singapore during this period, I recommend you check out both festivals!

I saw that there is a 1960s fancy dress contest for Chinatown. That sounds like fun! I would be curious to see what people wear. I love the colours that spray across the city for this Autumn Festival. The evenings must be magical.

That sounds indeed very fun! My expectations of the evenings at Gardens by the Bay are high. Pictures will follow soon, as it opens saturday.
