El Topo in Bondi Junction Sydney- Mexican food in a cool decor

June 11, 2015

During our last trip in Australia, we stumbled upon Mexican Restaurant El Topo in Bondi Junction.

It is located in a shopping mall and is spread over multiple levels.

We had drinks and nacho chips at rooftop level.

The interior decoration of the place is supercool. And totally up my alley!

I have only been to Mexico once, but Mexican style and stuff is very ‘me’.

I have a Mexican corner in my living room in Haarlem, Frida Kahlo is one of my icons and I would love to be in Mexico one day for the Day of the Dead celebrations. Retablos, sugar skulls, milagros…what’s not to love!

If you’re a fan of Mexican food and a Mexican-style-environment, be sure to visit El Topo one day. Either for drinks or for yummie food. Or just for the decor and to feel like you’re in Mexico;-).
