What have we here? It’s me again, folks! You knew that, I know, it is Selfie Sunday, duh!
I am sitting on some steps in theatre The Esplanades (aka The Durian), surrounded by hundreds of cat and dog sculptures. Did I just land in heaven?!
Woohoo; so many cuties around me!
It was an art installation, titled: “In the affair of Cats &Dogs, the government’s involved and so shall we” by Chua Boon Kee.
The artwork was meant to ask attention for cats and dogs that need adoption. They are all painted in the colors and symbols of the Singaporean flag: red, white and stars. The message was that both the government AND the individual people have a responsibility in animal rescue and animal care.
I happen to fit right in with my all-white outfit;-).
