Pasarbella Market. Singapore’s coolest Farmer’s Market.

July 10, 2014

It’s pretty far out, but well worth the trip; Pasarbella Market at Turf Club Road is one cool place!

It is a farmer’s market, filled with delicious F&B outlets and high quality groceries.

I love the cosy ambiance with all the corners and nooks and decorations!

Obviously you can go there to shop for gourmet food like special cheeses, fish, meat, wines, coffee and more. The stuff is not only yummie, but it is also presented in an attractive way.

You can have a seat in one of the cosy corners in Pasarbella Market, and have some nice food, a glass of wine or a cappuccino. On weekends lots of people do so, creating a lively ambiance.

Giant paella!

There are also some cute non-food shops and a children’s hairdresser.

Cute gift shop. Although especially for children, I love it too!
There is even a store with PIP Studio products, one of my favorite Dutch designers.

How fun must it be for kids to have a seat in one of these cars while having a haircut?!

Even just walking around at the market, soaking in the ambiance, is a fun pastime. The vibe is so cool and creative!

You are what you eat. Sure.
Signage at restrooms.
Quote walls.

Paper Girl fits right in and I love her little nook. The second time I went to Pasarbella, my mind was set on buying some postcards from her, but the steep price of SGD 6 per card was a bit too much for me.

Small store of artist Paper Girl.
I simply love this wall; so very cool!

No, Pasarbella Market is not a cheap place, be warned. But I think it is worth it every once in a while. Because as I said, it is more then just a market; it is a cool hub. Photogenic too!

We got some beers (for my hubbie), old cheeses (yum!) and some essential oils (for me). Great stuff!

No, we did not buy mango or banana beers. But Frits got some Belgian beers!

Do you go to Farmer’s Markets? What do you purchase usually? Are you looking for specific products?

Location:
The Grandstand at Turf Club Road. Walk past the mall and at the end you will see Pasarbella Market.

It sure is out of town;-)!
