So what’s the story?
The Steel Rod Sculptures are caricatures, placed on historic places in Georgetown by KL based company Sculpture at Work.
They were commissioned by the local government in order to make the history of Georgetown easy to grasp for locals and tourists, old and young.
Local artists made the cartoons, after which Sculpture at Work turned them into Steel Rod Sculptures.
And they are indeed informative in an accessible and funny way.
