Frits, my husband, has a job there, I don’t….so how to spend my days alone?
Give me a camera, a laptop with an internet connection and a pile of books and I am not easily bored, I know from experience. And even less so when the sun is shining. So I was not worried at all.
To be on the safe side, I DID think of a photography-theme. “Jumpology” aka making pictures of jumping people.
Other ideas were to jump into the Singaporean tango scene. And to start blogging; write and photograph about my experiences as a true anthropologist.
We are now three weeks in this adventure and nothing went as expected.
After barely one week in Singapore, Frits and I travelled to Hong Kong, a week later from there to Sydney, Australia, another week later back to Hong Kong, and after that back to Singapore.
And the next trip has been announced already: in four weeks we fly to Guangzhou, China. So tomorrow it’s time to book tickets and to obtain visa.
One thing is clear: there is not even time to get bored. Neither for tango, jumpology or blogging;-).
Today, finally sitting down to write for my blog, it’s hard to choose. In a short time there are already so many experiences to share. Where to start???!!!
Well, let’s start with the obvious: home, apartment 2808 at the Sail@Marina Bay.
To be continued…
