In my post about my City Trip to Dordrecht I promised you a separate post about two cool cafes in Dordrecht that we visited during that trip.
Grand Cafe Khotinsky
The first one is Grand Cafe Khotinsky.

Inside Grand Cafe Khotinsky in Dordrecht. How awesome is this place?. The look is cool and funky. Love it!
I read about it when I was preparing for my trip and we happened to pass by it on our stroll through the city. So obviously we went in to have a look and a drink!
Khotinsky is a super cool, huge space - 450 m2- in a former Energie factory (Energiehuis). They are open for lunch, dinner and drinks.
The decor is industrial-raw, with preservation of a lot of the original characteristics. There is an outdoor terrace as well.

We had a cappuccino (me) and a beer (Ans).

Huis Roodenburch
The second cafe we visited was Huis Roodenburch.
We spotted some cute tables and chairs with a chalkboard signage on the pavement and decided to go inside to have a peek.

This charming setting lured us in.
The building is gorgeous.

Such a fabulous building!
Roodenburch is a monumental building from Society Hendrick de Keyser with a rich history. It is one of the eldest stone houses of Dordrecht.

Let’s have a look inside!
There are impressive medieval wine cellars, the front house dates back to the 18th century, inside you find 19th century wall and ceiling paintings and there is an art nouveau salon from 1920.

In one of the style chambers. Gorgeous mantelpiece and walls.
The functions it has today are : restaurant, petit cafe, wine bar, garden, terrace and style rooms.

I love the interior decor with the numerous Seletti lamp monkeys.

White lamp monkeys everywhere.
These are so fab and I have my eye on them since a while now, but they are expensive.
Anyway, together with the fantastic Villa Augustus, you now have three addresses in Dordrecht where you can go for a bite, a coffee or dinner in a special decor. How neat is that?!
Which are your favourite spots in Dordrecht for a drink, a coffee or a bite?
