Gallery WaarKunst is an artistic enclave in the Groningen countryside. In Oldambt, to be precise.
The Groningen countryside it is!
In this private residence of artist Peter Meijer and his family, he also has his studio.
There is an art gallery with work from him and other artists. Very interesting. Always something new to see. Definitely worth a visit, regularly, if you are or live in the neighborhood.

Then there is restaurant Verse Aarde (=Fresh Earth), open each 1st en 3rd friday of the month.
The interior decor of the restaurant is quirky and artistic and there are art objects from various artists for sale. Cool!

WaarKunst further organizes art exhibitions, workshops, lectures, concerts and lots of other activities.
