10 cool shops in Bali

May 24, 2016

Where to shop in Bali

To be honest: there are numerous shops, stalls and markets in Bali. Many of which sell great stuff, often for very affordable prices. Especially if you know how to do some serious bargaining.

How awesome are these blue wood-carved salad bowls?!

Not all of those shops and stalls offer as nice a shopping experience, ‘ambiance wise’. They may be very basic, cramped, limited in choice of products, hot (no airco or fans) and so on.

That doesn’t have to be a problem at all. Looking for bargains often comes with some minor suffering doesn’t it?;-)

Tiny , messy store, but I was able to buy a lot of nice, cheap stuff there.

The 10 cool shops in Bali that I selected for you are pretty suffering-free. The only thing that might hurt a bit is your wallet, since these are not the cheapest shops in Bali. That doesn’t mean they are crazy expensive either.

10 cool shops in Bali

You see these pieces a lot in Bali. You can display them at home as a decorative piece, or you could wear it to a festival.

  • there’s no bargaining involved (as in: fixed prices), in case you hate to haggle
  • they are cool (as in: hip)

I know! But you travel a lot in Europe, which I have not done since we are located in Asia.
