SG50 is almost here!

SG50 is almost here and I’m elsewhere…

The big day for SG50 is almost here and I’m not gonna be there. Bummer!

There’s a good reason for my absence: my parents celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on the same day, so I’m going to be in Holland.

With my parents. What a handsome couple! Love them a lot.

Isn’t it special that they are happy with each other and enjoying each other, still, after all this time?! We feel blessed to be able to celebrate this.

So I’m missing the big SG50 party, but that’s okay.

Thanks, dear Suz. We had a wonderful time together. I even made an edible (but in fact inedible) wedding cake for them. The purpose was for it to look pretty and it did just that;-).

Congratulations to your parents on their 60th! They married before Singapore was even born. Haha! It’s too bad you’ll miss the Singapore celebration but it’s for a great reason. What a good-looking couple your parents are! I hope you have a good party.

Good observation, Mel, that my parents were married even before Singapore was born. You’re right!

The party was relaxed and my parents had a great time, so I was happy too. And yes, they are still a handsome couple;-). Thanks.
