Fred Lives Here. Singapore’s funkiest furniture store.

July 29, 2014

Singapore has a few fantastic stores with cool furniture wether it be contemporary or vintage. The funkiest one must be Fred Lives Here at Orchard Central.

No, Fred does not live here, nor is he a real person;-).

Not only do they carry the coolest brands, but they let one of my favorite local street artists, IamCeno2, apply murals in their store.

I love Ceno’s art and the urban, industrial look of the store.
The crow on the table is one of the smallest and cheapest iBride items. More about iBride further on in this post.
They have so many design chairs; cool!

The shop even has a tiny skateramp;-).

One of the brands they carry is IBride; how I love their furniture. Their animal bookcases are totally unpractical, but so much fun and such great statement and conversation pieces!

Wouldn’t this look great in my house?!
Or the bear shelves? Ofcourse you do need a lot of space at home, to let the furniture ‘shine’.
This ostridge side-table is more doable, size-wise.

I also have my eye on iBride’s trays since years. They are exquisite, don’t you think?

Animal baroque designs.

The cushions by Lucky Boy Sunday are super cute!

And I adore neon letters and neon art.

If we would be allowed to attach things to our walls, I would be very tempted to buy us some neon letters!
How cool is this mural?

I could go on and on, but what it comes down to is that I love almost everything in that shop. Yet I have none of the items in my house. Point is, that the stuff is all pretty expensive. At least wayyyyyy too much for my wallet. Too bad:-(. But hey, that does not stop me from returning to Fred Lives Here and browse the store;-).

This bull cupboard is just fab. Although I would paint it in some vibrant colors.

What do you think of this store? Is it your style? What is your favorite furniture store or brand?
