Happy Chinese New Year!
Extra Happy Chinese New Year to all of you Horses out there, in this Year of the Horse. (I am a Monkey, you?)
Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!
Apart from horses as an element for this specific year, Chinese New Year knows more traditional elements. Pink blossom trees, oranges, hongbao, flowers and last but not least: lanterns.
I would like to welcome the new year with this collection of lanterns that I spotted around town.

Chinatown is filled with lanterns.

| Chinatown by night now, and it is only getting more busy towards Chinese New year. |
At the remote and quite empty area around Universal Studios on Sentosa you find endless strings of red lanterns.
Hotel ParkRoyal on Pickering (that I wrote about recently) also hung up red lanterns.
One of the big malls on Orchard is filled with very pretty lanterns with flowers and butterflies.
Which ones are your favorites? Did you see any pretty lanterns around you?

I love those lasts ones. So pretty. It would be cool to make something like this.
Happy New Year! : )
Have a great weekend.
bisous
