Neville, the owner, has built up the whole garden from scratch, collecting plants and trees to plant on the grounds. The climate makes everything grow well and fast, so the trees are huge and mature now.
The terrain has a wonderful variety of flowers, plants, grasses and trees, attracting birds, butterflies and insects.

The pool area and the suites around it is the central area.
In another part of the gardens a huge pond has been layed out, full with koi carps.
The most special and beautiful thing I saw, I have not on a picture. It was a bright turquoise king fisher bird, that took several dives in the pool. It was magnificent!

If this bird spreads its wings, it is SO electric blue!
Besides landscaping the gardens, Neville also built some structures here and there on the land. Using local latherite stone and techniques. More about that in the next post.
