When we were in Seoul, we visited the highly entertaining Trick Eye Museum. I wrote a blog post about it with lots of funny pictures.
In the same building, you can find the Ice Museum Seoul.
It is the only permanent Ice Museum in the world.
Read what people say about it on Tripadvisor here.
The space is quite small and kept at -5 degrees C, so you definitely need warm clothes. When we visited the museum, it was freezing outside, so our own clothes were sufficient. In case you visit Seoul during summer, warm coats are provided on site, so no worries.
Although the museum is small, it is still fun to check it out.
The focus is on Korean households, so there is an ice kitchen, an ice bed and an ice sports car.
Further there is e.g. an ice slide, frozen people, ice wings and frozen angry birds.
A visit to the Ice Museum Seoul will take only 20 to 30 minutes. At that time you will probably be happy to leave anyways, due to the cold;-).
Luckily it only takes some Love Therapy to quickly warm up frozen hearts and bodies.
So what do you think? Would this be a museum that you would enjoy?
