Ofcourse this is designed nicely as well. What else can you expect in this hotel?;-). With surprising, quirky and fun elements here and there. Like this huge pillar. It is embossed with golden eggs, but incidentally you spot a dissident white egg. I like those details.
And this cabinet. The horn handles are gorgeous and in it is copper and silver ware lying around, looking green from the light inside.

There are newspapers, magazines and books to read.
|One time, when going for dinner at Kitchen on my own, since Frits had to work, I dressed up nicely. But for the most part I did not wear dresses in the hotel, simply because it was too cold (airco) for me.|
The W Hong Kong is situated at West Kowloon on reclaimed land. Kitchen is directly overlooking an industrial, commercial part of the harbor. Never a dull moment. As I wrote before, we were treated as royalty, so usually we were given a spot at the huge windows. Very nice!
One of the most important factors for your happiness, when staying longer in a hotel, is it’s staff. The staff of Kitchen was very nice to us. They served us numerous Cafe Lattes (we looooove our coffees!) and whatever we needed.
They speak good or good enough english, work hard and fast and are friendly for the guests.
