As I said yesterday, there is food for every one’s wishes and tastes: asian, western, hot and cold.
The choice in bread and pastry is enormous. It all looks so pretty and delicious.
Imagine how hard and tempting this was for a diabetic with a sweet tooth aka ME!;-)
I tried to restrain myself and stick to my diet. I succeeded at breakfast for about 20 out of 30 days. On the other 10 days I did not go overboard either, but on those days I allowed myself a chocolate croissant and incidentally a muffin.
All in all it was a lousy month in regards of sticking to my diabetic regime and I gained several kg’s. Hope my average bloodsugar levels will not show up too high in my next lab tests!

Then there is a whole range of yoghurts, fruit juices, fruits and add ons, like muesli and nuts. Yoghurt with some fruit is my normal breakfast, so that’s what I had each morning.

And there’s a whole range of hot and/or asian food, neither of which is for me in the mornings;-).
